Advancing color printing to the speed of today's e-business environment, the IBM® Infoprint® Color 8 prints high-quality color documents from a variety of applications. Backed by IBM's
outstanding service and support, the Infoprint Color 8 is the ideal choice for your business printing needs.
Reliable price performance The IBM Infoprint Color 8, with a speed of up to 8 full-color pages per minute, is twice as fast as
comparable products in the same price range. The high-performance 200 MHz MIPS R5000 processor allows fast printing even with complex documents. The printer's straight, single pass
paper path optimizes printing speed and reliability, while allowing for greater media choices, including labels, transparencies and card stock.
Optimal print quality Utilizing Heidelberg® color technology, the printer can produce sharp, clear text and vibrant color
images. With optimized color-matching capabilities, you can produce documents with higher color fidelity.
Compatible with your printing environment The IBM Infoprint Color 8 helps preserve your investment in systems and software by supporting
major network environments and computer platforms. With true Adobe PostScript, you can print from a wide variety of applications.
Management and control The IBM Infoprint Color 8 can monitor itself and send e-mail alerts to the network administrator. You can remotely monitor the printer's status and change its configuration via a Web browser using
Web pages embedded in the printer. The Infoprint Color 8 also supports the monitoring portion of the Network Printer Manager (NPM) Utility.
