Users have a choice of interface options for network, parallel or serial connections. Choosing the EasyLAN™ 100i interface card enables full remote printer management capabilities and bi-directional communication with the printer. This means that the printer can help eliminate its own downtime by sending e-mail alerts before the ribbon supply runs out. Throughput (the actual time it takes a printer to load label format and start printing) directly impacts the amount of time a user spends waiting at the printer for labels. The EasyCoder F4 compact industrial printer virtually eliminates the waiting time from send to final printed label. Designed to be easy to install, operate and maintain, the EasyCoder F4ci features an open web path for quick loading of media, and the Magnetic QuickMount printhead ensures printheads can be easily replaced without tools or technicians. A backlit LCD display and keypad is standard for configuration and stand-alone printer applications where part or order numbers may need to be entered to retrieve information from a host. The EasyCoder F4ci standard offering provides the flexibility of choosing IPL, Direct Protocol, or Fingerprint printer languages. Intermec’s Fingerprint printer language can be utilized allowing the printer to drive the application or replace older printers. This eliminates the PC from the application. The EasyCoder F4ci printer can replace old printers without any changes to the host system and can also run peripheral devices such as scanners, weigh scales, and other printers.
